Vegan Better Brownie Recipe

Vegan Brownie Recipe:

This brownie does not get much better. Rich in anti-oxidants, protein, vitamins and minerals, this is a heart healthy treat with no regrets!

Wet Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
Dry Ingredients:
  • ¾ cup coconut sugar
  • ¼ cup Delores hemp seeds
  • 3 tablespoon cacao nibs
  • ½ cup oat flour
  • ⅓ cup cacao powder
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon rock salt
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Lightly grease a 7x11 (or 9x9) glass pan with coconut oil. 
  3. In a small bowl, mix together all WET ingredients. 
  4. In a separate bowl, mix DRY ingredients: coconut sugar, hemp hearts, and cacao nibs; then sift in: oat flour, coconut flour, cacao powder, baking soda and salt. 
  5. In dry mix bowl, make a center and slowly mix in the wet ingredients. 
  6. Evenly spoon batter in to greased pan. 
  7. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. 
  8. Remove from oven and let cool in pan before frosting or cutting.
