L-Arginine: The Amino Acid for Vitality, Libido & Sexual Wellness
Couples who experience a lack of intimacy often have difficulty in maintaining a healthy and loving relationship. Further if one or both partners experience a low libido, it is often due to fatigue, low energy, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, bad circulation, or an unhealthy diet. This can have damaging effects on a couple’s relationship and will often create further and further distance between the couple.
There is good news for folks who are looking for a natural and easy way to spice up their intimate time! To develop their sexual pleasure from their partner look no other than natural supplements such as L-arginine to help increase their libido and vitality. L-arginine is an essential amino acid that synthesizes proteins within the body. It is required in order to maintain balance in our central nervous system preventing us from being overly anxious or overly apathetic. [i]
Amino acids are important as they prevent certain symptoms to form within the human body. It is suggested to take amino acids now, as our present day quality of food no longer contains the proper supplements as they once had 60 or 70 years ago. With the presence of pesticides, pollution and other contaminants, our foods no longer have the healing quality once available to people. Naturally L-arginine is found in red meat, some vegetables and nuts, but they are often contaminated through the process of processing plants.
L-Arginine is needed within the body to synthesize nitric oxide (a natural compound formed by the body). In 1998 it was discovered that blood flow is regulated by nitric oxide and is what creates an erection for men. By widening the blood vessels and releasing hormones, it is also responsible for blood flow into women’s genitals; allowing them to experience heightened orgasm. [ii] Nitric oxide also allows our arteries to keep the elasticity while helping to ease anxiety. By keeping our youthful energy this amino acid also assists in balancing blood pressure.
L-Arginine not only increases strength but also muscle mass. By helping to synthesize nitric oxide, L-Arginine promotes endurance and conditioning. When nitric oxide is released, it expands the blood vessels by relaxing the muscles of their walls. The result is lowered blood pressure and increases blood flow to the muscles . The increased blood flow means that oxygen and nutrients are sent to your muscles and for longer amounts of time. This can help reduce muscle damage, promote recovery times after work outs, and provide more vitality and energy!
